Damage Waiver
Rental Terms and Equipment Responsibility
To protect both our customers and our equipment, a damage waiver form is required before finalizing your rental. This agreement outlines responsibility for the rented units during the rental period.
Our goal is to provide clean, dependable sanitation units and ensure clear expectations from delivery through pickup.
Responsibility During Rental
The customer assumes responsibility for the rented equipment from the time of delivery until pickup.
This includes:
- Preventing misuse or vandalism
- Ensuring units are not relocated without approval
- Protecting units from damage caused by vehicles or heavy machinery
- Maintaining reasonable site conditions for safe placement
Units should remain in the agreed-upon location unless coordinated with our team.
Damage and Repairs
The customer may be responsible for repair or replacement costs if damage occurs due to:
- Vandalism or intentional misuse
- Fire or impact damage
- Unauthorized relocation
- Equipment tampering
Normal wear and tear is not considered damage.
If damage occurs, please notify our team as soon as possible so we can assess and address the situation promptly.
Site Access and Safety
Clear and safe access must be maintained for delivery and servicing. Units should be placed on level ground with adequate clearance for service vehicles. PitStop of Michigan is not responsible for damage to underground utilities or property unless placement instructions were clearly provided prior to delivery.
Acceptance of Terms
By signing the damage waiver form, you acknowledge responsibility for the equipment during the rental period and agree to the outlined terms.
If you have questions about the agreement, our team is happy to provide clarification before finalizing your rental.
